Base is a project, currently in the early stages of development, but I hope that it will be an ever-changing entity that caters to the needs of the current rave/nightlife scene. Ultimately, Base is an idea or concept that covers most aspects of party culture. I want to use this as a way to change how people engage with and in these shared spaces.
Plae is about raising awareness for underground culture and honouring the insane capacity art has to heal, to hold, and to connect. Our approach has always been inside-out. Our central character – The shadow player - the ghostwriters, sound engineers, behind-the-scenes crew, the people whose work often goes unseen.
